I love this post! Since I’m a Libra, I’ve always felt the Queen of Swords cuts thru the BS because of her intelligence .
This morning, I pulled the Hermit card and the Hierophant card. What’s funny is I’m meeting my dad and sister for lunch. And got the meaning that my views differ from their traditional views. Your article reinforces this.
Loved your post! It gave me some things to think about. I have Naked Tarot - the thing I love about your books is the no bullshit way you write. And I like your articles. They always give me something to think about.
Great wake-up post, Janet - it took me until midlife to start truly questioning, at a cellular level, the shoulds in life. I'm curiously drawn to the Devil at the moment and a friend said the same, I wonder if that subversive, shadow energy is potent in the depths of winter? I still struggle with several facets of the Hierophant, unless I am certain he is pointing to what is sacred to me, in his lighter aspect. But yes, a great big middle finger to should, and shame.. I'm glad you stayed up late to write this!
Hey, better late than never to start 🖕the shoulds and shame! 😉 You may be drawn to The Devil in his LIGHT aspect: outright rebellion against externally imposed BS that restricts and oppresses (i.e.throwing off Puritanical chains...)
I love that version of the Devil - I think it really speaks to why I am so drawn to him right now. Something calling us to wild (in the true sense) rebellion....

Ohhhh interesting! That makes a lot of sense! (I'm a quad Scorpio with Mars in Libra and Moon in Aquarius. Lethal. 🗡️😂😉)
Giggle, I'm not messing with you! 🤗

Awww thanks, Tammy! Highest compliments: bullshit destroyer and thought-provoker. 🗡️💩🤭😉
